The sideboard is an exploration of space, structure, environment and materiality. A finely crafted work, a conceptual reference to Gerit Rietveld’s sideboard of 1919 can be seen. The sideboard has an accompanying chair, now part of the collection of the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
